Garland

Garland is a great added touch to any Holiday Installation.  Easy to install, it can be a great upsell for any project.  Here are a few important things to look for when purchasing garland;

Size

The most common size of Garland is 9’x14″.  This is 9′ in length and 14″ in diameter. Garland is measured by stretching out two of the tips that are directly across from each other.  For larger commercial jobs, you can use 9’x18″ making it more visible.

Lit and Unlit

You can purchase garland with or without lights. Depending on the application and if you have power, you will want to have both lit and unlit available.

Decor

Garland can be purchased with a variety of decor options. While it will be more expensive, it is a great added touch of budgets permit.

Tip Count

When purchasing Garland, it’s important to pay attention to the tip count.  The higher the tip count, the fuller the garland will be.  Garland typically can range from 280- 320 tips.  280 tips will be the most common for Residential installations.

Wreaths a great added touch to both residential and commercial installations.  In this section, we will discuss the many different types of wreaths available and the different types of applications they can be used for.

Sizes

Wreaths can be found in a multitude of sizes with the most popular sizes ranging from 24″ to 144″. Larger wreaths can be custom ordered to fit any size project.

Type

There is a variance in types of wreaths which simply comes down to matter of preference.  Two of the most popular styles you can find are Oregon Fir and Mixed Pine.

Decor

Wreaths can come unlit, lit, without decor or with decor.  You will need to determine what type of wreath you will need based on the job.  You may not need a lit wreath if you have no access to power at the location of the install.

Application

When installing a wreath, you want to fill about 70% of the area.  Make sure you pick the correct size wreath to do this.  Many of the locations where wreaths are hung will require

 

To ensure longevity, make sure the wreaths you are purchasing are UV coated and rated for commercial use.
